This work was completed with classmates from a university elective course, using alternative electronic music as its stylistic direction.
The piece takes a synth bass as its central motive, exploring the flow and suspension of the music.
It describes the boundary between “hazy” and “clear” through sound.

The station is connected to a Taiwanese Daoist temple; after leaving the platform, one can see red lanterns and the nearby Shui-an Temple. We decided to sample folk-like melodies from traditional bayin music, combining guzheng and suona-like timbres with a relaxed Bossa Nova accompaniment, adding a touch of temple culture to the modern urban setting.
